Such a shame. We had an amazing family meal at the Bollywood Lounge on Friday 25th January and the food was really good. However, our evening was completely spoiled and it was so unnecessary and could have been avoided. The bill was brought over to our table and we waited for them to come to take payment. Eventually one of the waiters came over and we were told that we had to pay at the bar as they no longer had a portable card machine. No problem. When we got there we were told that they had forgotten to charge us on the bill for half a lager but that this didn't matter. However, when he realised we were paying by card (why that should make a difference I don't know) he then said that he would add the charge for the drink onto our bill. Bearing in mind that just a couple of minutes earlier he had said it was their omission so he wouldn't charge us. The amount he was making such a fuss about was about 2.50 so, for such a small amount, our evening ended on a sour note and, even though the food was good, we felt that if they were prepared to treat their customers like this , we would not be going back there again.
Lovely food and amazing naan breads would definitely recommend.
Need to sort the decor but the food is spot on
I had take aways from here & I have never been disappointed, so tried a meal in the Restuarant this time!The food was good but the attention was more focused on the take away business side, rather than the six of us that were dining
